Although stem cell therapy treatments are not FDA-approved for joint discomfort, it may help you to reduce pain, repair damaged tissue, and improve mobility without surgery by using your body’s natural healing cells. Full Circle Orthopedics offers advanced regenerative treatments to help you move freely again.

Understanding Stem Cell Therapy

Stem cell therapy is a cutting-edge regenerative treatment that harnesses your body’s natural healing abilities to potentially repair damaged joint tissues, reduce inflammation, and alleviate discomfort caused by arthritis, injuries, or degeneration. These remarkable cells have the ability to develop into various cell types, which may support the regeneration of cartilage, tendons, and ligaments. At Full Circle Orthopedics, Dr. Robert Donnelly uses advanced techniques to prepare and administer the stem cells.

While not FDA-approved specifically for joint discomfort and with individual results that may vary, our treatments are designed to support your body’s innate healing processes. It’s important to understand there are no guarantees of outcome, and stem cell therapy isn’t meant to replace conventional treatments. This minimally invasive approach offers a potential alternative to surgery with typically shorter recovery times, aiming to help improve mobility and quality of life.

We encourage patients to consult with Dr. Donnely to determine if this approach aligns with their individual health needs and goals.

Frequently Asked Questions About Stem Cell Therapy

Where do the stem cells come from?

We use Mesenchymal stem cells from donated umbilical cords from scheduled c-sections. The women donating their umbilical cords are rigorously screened to ensure we are using the most active and viable umbilical cord stem cells.

How do you ensure safety?
In the last 13 years the stem cells we use have not seen one deep infection. We ask our donors 210 medical history questions. Additionally, we send 10% of each batch out for 3rd party testing. If ONE fails, we discard the ENTIRE batch.

Is there risk of rejection?Umbilical cord stem cells do not have MHC 2 markers. Therefore, they do not spark a rejection reaction at all in a non-related recipient.

Are there side effects? Some patients may experience mild flu-like symptoms. Inflammation is a good thing.

Is this FDA approved?
Stem cell therapy is not FDA approved, it is FDA regulated. This is an experimental therapy and there is no guarantee. There are no 100% guarantees in medicine! It is legal and the FDA does not regulate the practice of medicine. Compared to many traditional therapies it is a much better option with less side effects.

How do you store your biologics?

Our biologics are cryopreserved at -80 degrees celsius.

Joint pain affects more than just your body; it can limit your daily life. At Full Circle Orthopedics, we’re committed to helping you regain an active lifestyle. Schedule a consultation with Dr. Robert Donnelly to see if you’re a candidate for cutting-edge stem cell therapy.
